Christina Washington was interested in math and science from an early age, entering her first science fair as a second grader. By the time she reached high school, her childhood hobby of tinkering had turned into a full-fledged passion for science. Mrs. Washington earned a NASA Scholarship to study Electrical Engineering at Clark Atlanta University, and worked as a Research Assistant for the Georgia Tech Research Institute during her matriculation. She also interned for the USDA Forest Services in Madison, WI and Siemens Energy and Automation.  Upon completion from college, Christina worked in server development at Dell Computer Corporation in Austin, TX for 3 years. Within this time, Christina assisted with the launch of 10 server products and gained immense experience in program management within a fast paced environment.  In 2003, Mrs. Washington decided to pursue Medical Physics at Cleveland State University while completing clinical training at the Cleveland Clinic. After graduating with a Master of Science degree, Christina worked as a Medical Physicist for the Department of Veteran Affairs and other medical facilities for nearly 10 years.
